In 2014, William began his music education career teaching general music, guitar, and band at the School of Arts and Sciences in Tallahassee. In 2017, William became the Director of Steelbands at Raa Middle School, where he led Raa Steel for 9 years and was highlighted by a 2025 FMEA President\u2019s Concert performance. In 2026, William became the Director of Steelbands at Leon High School. One of the nation&#8217;s oldest curricular steelbands, Leon&#8217;s Lion Steel is made up of beginning, intermediate, advanced, and honors ensembles.
